News Stories Road Safety Award Christian Jordan, Assistant Road Safety Officer, presented us with our Gold Modeshift Award for our work in encouraging walking, scooting, cycling to school and car sharing. Making Skeletons Class 3H have been learning the scientific names for bones this morning. We made skeletons in the playground using natural resources and then labelled them up with their scientific names. Mathletics Challenge These were the top (9 of) 10 children in Mr Addy’s Mathletics Summer Challenge. The top 5 children received a cash prize for generating thousands of points over the holidays. Hockey On Thursday evening, our Hockey team won their league in a highly contested competition. Reminder - Macmillan coffee morning This Friday, 28th September, 9am to 11am in the school hall.

Y5 Hands on History Y5 enjoying Hands on History learning lots about World War One. Outdoor Gym We're all really excited this week as out Outdoor Gym is being installed in the playground. Yorkshire Cricket This half term, John Major (from Yorkshire Cricket Board) is working with a year 3 and a year 6 class (and their teachers) to improve their cricketing and life skills. Y6 Curriculum Evening It was fantastic to see so many parents and carers at our Year 6 curriculum evening.
