Great Book Share Success for World Book Day
Wow - what a fantastic day we had on World Book Day. The children enjoyed some wonderful activities including a ‘book bistro’ and a very special ‘DJS book club’ with some extra special grown up visitors. Thank you so much to all of the parents who gave up their time to share their love of reading with our children.

Parenting Programme - Understanding Your Child
Understanding Your Child is a 10 week face to face
parenting programme which aims to promote more
effective and sensitive parenting. It is based on three
main principles of emotional containment and
reciprocity which lead to effective behaviour
management. This programme aims to help parents
identify their own goals and solutions to problems
and prioritises the relationship between the parent
and the child.

2. How are you and your child feeling?
3. Tuning into your child's development
4. Responding to your child's feelings
5. Different styles of parenting
6.Parenting-child relationship - having fun together
7. The rhythm of interaction and sleep
8.Self-regulation and anger
