A Busy Week in Nurture!

It's been a busy week in Nurture! The children have been starting their mornings with Danny Go! working hard on their own Rainbow animal story, learning about fire safety and finishing the week with some Rainbow Fish art.

Year 4 have been working hard to learn their times tables. These children have been awarded golden tickets for spending extra time at home - over 30 minutes - on TT rockstars. All these children have made fantastic progress in learning their tables this year. Keep up the good work.

Free Cinema at All Saints'

Please see below for etails of the next cinema event in All Saints' Driffield Church Hall (behind the Church) 

At 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 28th 2026, we will show the film The Little Mermaid (Live Action 2023) (PG) (2hr 10mins). 
 
At 7 p.m. the same day, we will be showing the film Tron: Ares (2025) (12) (1hr 54mins). 
 
Doors open 30 minutes before the showing for refreshments. Come along and join us. Everything is free!
 
Our next cinema showings will be on Saturday, March 28th 2026 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Year 5 'Forces' Science Topic
As part of our ‘forces’ science topic, year 5 enjoyed a trip to the pool this week. We saw how our speed was affected by our shape in the water and talked about why streamline shapes work better. After some scientific discussion and experiments with water resistance, we couldn’t ‘resist’ a play time in the pool!
