Next Cinema Event in All Saints' Driffield Church Hall
At 4pm on Saturday 28th March 2026, the All Saints' Driffield Church will show the film Wish (Disney Animation 2023) (U) (1hr 31mins). 
 
At 7pm the same day, they will be showing the film Wicked for Good (2025) (PG) (2hrs 17mins). 
Doors open 30 minutes before the showings for refreshments. Everything is free!

We would like to say a huge thank you to local businesses McAlpine Ltd and E Hoggard & Sons Ltd for providing all of our children with these booklets which are full of useful information to share with children and parents. Key topics include internet safety, staying healthy, road safety, how to promote good mental health etc.

Greek Vases in 5RW
Last week 5RW constructed their very own greek vases using clay! They used the coil building technique to create a structurally sound vessel which they then lightly carved patterns into to  complete their designs.

PSA Easter Bingo Success!
The PSA and staff at Driffield Junior School would like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended our well turned out PSA Easter bingo last night. It was a thouroughly enjoyable evening!
 
We raised just over £1,300 which is amazing and will go towards providing our children with amazing experiences throughout their time at DJS.
East Riding Road Safety - Learn to Ride Courses

East Riding Road Safety - Learn to Ride Courses
East Riding Council Road Safefty Team are running some Learn to Ride courses over Easter. Please see the bullet points below for more details:
  • East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s road safety team are running Learn to Ride sessions in Market Weighton on Tuesday 31 March, and Bridlington on Wednesday 8th April, at various times throughout the day. 
  • Children will be taught how to get on and off the bike correctly, balance, brake and steer. 
  • The cost is £20
  • Ideally, riders will bring their own bikes and helmets, but we do have a small number to borrow if we are made aware in advance.

This morning a talented group of Year 6 girls, known as 'We Don't Know' played live in Assembly to all the children. They were absolutely fantastic and did an amazing job of playing and singing to 'Make you Feel My Love' by Adele. Well done girls!

HAF Easter Activities - Information for SEND Parents/Carers

The Easter Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme is now live, and there’s lots to look forward to!  This Easter, children aged 4 to 16 can enjoy over 200 exciting activities across the East Riding. From pony trekking and go karting to SEND specific water sports and high rope adventures, there’s something for everyone.

Families who receive benefits-related free school meals or council tax support can take part free of charge. All activities are also open to other families on a paid basis, with costs varying by provider.

Parents and carers can express interest now through the new booking system by visiting
