  • Football Team
    On a bitterly cold evening, the Driffield Junior School Football team took part in the Humberside Large Schools U11 7-a-side Tournament at South Hunsley School.
  • Y4 have been very busy
    Year 4 have been busy making and tasting Fairtrade smoothies, experimenting with chocolate and 4W have been buddy reading with 6C.
  • Thank you
    We have received a card, hand made in Malawi, to thank us for the donation of £429 we have made to the Mbedza project.
  • Children in Need
    We've been fund raising for Children in Need by wearing non-uniform for the day, with lots of Pudsey ears on show! We have received a total of £376.25 in donations.
  • Girls Football Team
    On Wednesday evening, our Girls Football Team played in the East Riding U11 Football Finals at South Hunsley School. After winning the local cluster tournament before half term, Driffield found the opposition much tougher.
  • Y5 Give Time to the Community
    Y5 have learnt how the Sikh religion give their time in the community. In the hope of doing the same, Year 5 visited a local care home to read to the residents.
  • Hockey Teams
    Last Thursday, Mr Addy took 2 teams to play in our second Cluster Hockey Tournament of the year. Well done to Mr Addy, everybody who took part and congratulations to our burgundy team who won their group.
  • Visitor to Year 3
    On Monday a Buddhist visitor came in to visit the Year 3 children. The children performed a play about Buddha’s life and also learnt some meditation techniques.
  • Pizza making in Y3
    3H put on their chefs hats this week and made some fantastic pizzas from scratch.
  • We Will Remember Them
    Y5 paid tribute to the 134 Driffield men who paid the ultimate sacrifice in World War One. Pupils have spent the past few weeks researching the names of the fallen and were able to share their findings in the assembly.
