For the past three weeks, children at Driffield Junior School have been collecting for the Christmas Box appeal. Organised by the charity, The Samaritan's Purse, boxes are sent to children in need throughout the world in time for Christmas.
Many children made up individual boxes although many also contributed to collaborative class boxes. They enjoyed this experience and were proud and happy to think they were making Christmas extra-special for a child that would normally receive nothing at all.
