Family members, children and staff are invited to share a story to celebrate World Book Day at 2.30pm on Thursday 6th March at a very special DJS book club
Bring along your favourite childhood book and share it with a group of children in your child’s class. Everyone is invited - parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, older siblings - We can’t wait for you to join us!
What to do before:
- Reply to the google form below
- Choose your favourite children’s book to bring in. If it’s a longer book, choose your favourite bit to share.
What to do on the day:
- Meet in the main hall with Mrs Dixon at 2.30pm. You will then be guided to your child’s classroom.
- The class teacher will have organised a small group of children (including your child) for you to share your book with
- The children will share their books with you and we will read our books together. Adults will listen to children read if they want to.
- At 3.25 leave the classroom and wait for your child at your usual meeting point.
