Hi All
Last night, our girls football team played in the East Riding Girls Final, held at Driffield School.
The girls played in a round robin event against Hornsea, Inmans, Molescroft, New Pasture Lane and Withernsea Schools.
DJS started off well with a 1-0 win against New Pasture Lane and a 1-0 win against Hornsea.
They then dominated their third game against Inmans but couldn't score, finishing 0-0.
Their next game was the toughest of the night, with a 0-2 defeat against a strong Molescroft team, who contained some Hull Academy players.
Finally, a 1-1 draw, after being one goal down, finished a successful evening.
Molescroft, Withernsea and DJS finishing joint top of the group!

Well done to all the girls, many thanks to Mrs Burkinshaw (from Driffield School) for her help, and the parents/grandparents and siblings for their support.
