Our very own Mr Lowe has been contacted by Driffield In Bloom to offer the children the opportunity to design this year's flower bed arrangement outside of school.
The theme is 'lifeboats' to celebrate RNLI Bridlington Lifeboat Centre being in service 200 years.
Driffield in Bloom has also kindly offered to take the top 20 entry winners to Bridlington for the day to visit the lifeboat centre and take part in a tour. This includes free travel donated by National Railway.
The competition will run through Easter holidays and the first week back. All entries need to be handed in by 12th April (First Friday back) to allow DIB time to buy the flower colours needed to recreate the winning design.
Children will be bring home a template to complete their designs. A copy of this is also attached.
