Last night saw another trip to Stamford Bridge but this week it was the turn of our Year 5 Football team to play their second round of fixtures in the East Riding Y5 Football League.
DJS played two highly competitive games against a strong Stamford Bridge Primary School side.
In their first game, Driffield took a 3-0 lead, until they conceded a late goal as they became slightly complacent towards the end.
After a short break, DJS played a second game, going 1-0 down early on. However, a great fightback saw Driffield go 2-1 in front before a final minute equaliser meant a 2-2 draw.
Well done to all the boys and girls who represented the school and a big thank you to all the parents/grandparents and siblings for their travelling support. The Y5 drivers managing to find the ground on time this week!
Our next games for Y5 and Y6 are against Wilberfoss PS after the Easter break.
