Bug hotels
Year 4 have been working on creating habitats for bugs and minibeasts! We looked at some information on how to build bug hotels, what designs we could use and what materials we had available to us. We decided that we could repurpose some of the old bricks from the cleared willow maze site. We also used sticks, grass, leaves and mud to structure and layer our hotels. We thought that we worked well as a team to create lots of different hotels and we would like to keep revisiting them to make observations over time, and see if there are any new guests that change with the seasons!
