Mr Welbourn and his birdwatching club would like to send out a message....
Thank you!
Mr Welbourn's birdwatching group has received an extremely generous number of donations, ranging from all types of bird food, different feeders and even nest boxes and bug hotels. 4W's classroom looks a little like a pet shop now. :)
Our bird watchers just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to our parents/carers and staff who have kindly bought bird food/feeders for our club! Your lovely donations are hugely appreciated by the children (and the birds too) so thank you very much!
We would also like to say another massive THANK YOU to Dianne and Kirk at Westlands Horticulture and Mr & Mrs Granton at Honeyfield's for donating boxes of fantastic products, some of which the children will have the opportunity to win! Prizes include - Peckish filled feeders, Peckish reusable 'coco-not' feeders and Gardman Robin feeders. (Paper copies of the competition forms will be available from class teachers)
It really has given the school a great community feel, so thank you all for your heartfelt donations! Mr Welbourn and the birdwatching team.
