Congratulations to our Cricket Team
What an amazing day of cricket! Our year 3/4's won every single game, high scoring with 87 runs in one match - taking us through to the finals at Headingley next week. One of our team also won the hard hitting speed trap competition with 58mph! The children represented DJS extremely well and showed great sportsmanship.
The children are so excited to be playing on the actual pitch of Yorkshire Cricket Club's home ground of Headingley next Thursday and even more for this!... The YCB have kindly given us pre paid tickets to watch the pro game after we have finished ours! What an amazing opportunity for the children!
